CAN Fit Otter Box Defender Case

I picked this item out specifically for my Otter Box Defender Case for my iPhone 3GS. I saw a picture of it being just a smidgen larger than Apple's connector. This is true. The end that is round is just BARELY to big. I sanded down just the curved part and it fits just fine. In review:

- Not a DIRECT fit for the Otter Box Defender case
- RadTech DockExtender + 400 Grit Sandpaper = Cord that fits

UPDATE: After about a year, or so (maybe a little longer) the cord started to disintegrate and it stopped working. I'm not sure if I got a bad one, but this is just my experience. I will not be purchasing this again. Should have just picked up the CableJive dock extender/12v --> 5v power adapter. I'm not really sure why the female connector is so massive. Changing from four stars to two.
